Here with, I beg to enclose 3 statements, A.B. and C. showing amounts due on account of Maintenance of interned enemy subjects, and departmental expenses on account of supply bills whic have been forwarded you monthly with the statements of expenditure
of maintenance of intered families.
A. Shows the cost of all local purchases on behalf of interned
enemy subjects.
B. Shows the value of all "Supplies and Stores" issued from Army
Departments, to interned enemy subjects.
C. Shows the amount due on account of departmental expenses on
supply bills which have been paid on behalf of interned famili-

Statement has been compiled from our suplicate accounts with War Office. All the vouchers were rendered in orijinal only, and nave been sent to War Office monthly with our accounts. Statement B.uas been compiled from returns rendered to this office by the departments concerned. These returns are in my possession,
but I nave no vouchers.
Statement C. These charges are usual and in accordance with Army
Regulations.
Each statement shows the exact proportion due from the Colonial Government on account of interned enemy subjects.
